Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 October 2026

In short

  • Using this website means you accept these terms.
  • Everything on the site is information — not a quotation or a contract.
  • Services are agreed in a separate written agreement.
  • Your rights under South African consumer law are never affected.

1. About these terms

Welcome. These terms apply to this website and to the information you find on it. They are written in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.

By browsing the site or sending us an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.

2. Who we are

Paladin Security is a South African security technology company providing security drones, offline facial recognition systems and drone pilot training. We have offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg and deploy nationally.

3. Using this website

You are welcome to browse, read and share our pages. Please do not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone's rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
  • copy, scrape or republish large parts of the site, or use it to send spam;
  • misrepresent yourself as Paladin Security or as acting on our behalf.

4. Information on this site

The content on this site is general information about what we do. It is not an offer, a quotation, technical advice or a promise that a particular result will be achieved. Product capabilities, imagery and simulated detection views are illustrative, and specifications may change as our technology develops.

Please rely on the written quotation and agreement for your project rather than on this website.

5. Enquiries, quotations and bookings

Sending the contact form starts a conversation — it does not create a contract, a booking or an obligation on either side. We aim to respond within one business day.

A quotation is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued unless it says otherwise. Work begins once you accept the quotation in writing and we confirm it in writing. Any change to scope, site conditions or timeline is agreed in writing before the work changes.

6. Our services in practice

Our drones, recognition systems, installations, maintenance and training are supplied under a separate written agreement, which sets out scope, pricing, timelines, warranties and responsibilities. Where these terms and that agreement differ, the agreement prevails for the work it covers.

Our technology is deployed in line with South African law, including POPIA and Civil Aviation Authority requirements. As the operator of a system on your premises, you are responsible for using it lawfully, for informing people where the law requires it, and for the decisions your team makes based on what the system shows. Our systems are a powerful tool that supports trained people — they do not replace human judgement.

7. Drone training

Places on our training courses are confirmed in writing and are subject to availability, minimum class numbers and the requirements of the South African Civil Aviation Authority. Course content, prerequisites, fees and cancellation terms are set out in your booking confirmation.

8. Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, design, graphics, photographs, video, our name and logo — belongs to Paladin Security or is used with permission. You may not copy, adapt or reuse it commercially without our written consent. You are welcome to link to our pages.

9. Links to other sites

Where we link to another website, it is there to be helpful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep this site online, accurate and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access — maintenance, updates or issues outside our control may interrupt it. We may change, update or remove content at any time without notice.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, Paladin Security is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on general information published on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or any other law that applies to you. If a term here conflicts with a right the law gives you, the law prevails.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If we cannot resolve a disagreement between us directly, the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.

14. Questions about these terms

If anything here needs explaining, email contact@paladinsecurity.co.za and we will talk it through with you.
